This is an 86-91 style hatch motor assembly. These are very often damaged or do not work correctly. This assembly is in excellent working condition and would work great to replace your damaged original. This has the power hatch release on it but can be used without it as well. Connector styles may vary but can easily be swapped. (Note: If you have a '91 model car you will need to verify this is the style motor you need since the smaller 1992 assembly was also used on some 1991 cars.)
